Conflict management

Agreements reached during the course of a transaction are often well documented in the sale and purchase contract.

Agreements reached during the course of a transaction are often well documented in the sale and purchase contract. Nevertheless, in some cases, one of the parties can feel disadvantaged after the transaction has taken place, for example, if the forecast revenue growth is not achieved or if a situation occurs that was not taken into account in the drafting of the contract.

Commonly, such issues are resolved by taking legal action but, in many cases, hiring a professional mediator is both less expensive and provides better results.

Marktlink acts as a mediator in conflicts arising during or after mergers or acquisitions, and strives always to find a satisfactory solution for both parties. We do this by returning to the negotiating table, using our years of experience to find alternative solutions that our clients were not able to identify. Our main objective is always to ensure that both buyer and seller are happy with the end result.
